Base One Technologies has awarded Hancock and Poole Security a three-year subcontract to provide consultation services to the Department of Homeland Security as part of efforts to help DHS secure information systems.
HPS said Friday the information security consultation work falls under a task order awarded through DHS’ Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading-Edge Solutions II vehicle and supports the DHS headquarters construction project at the St. Elizabeth’s campus in Washington.
HPS added it will continually assess and test the security posture of the department’s information systems as well as deploy technical systems designed to address emerging cybersecurity concerns.
Rachel McCleave, marketing director of HPS, said the company seeks to continue its delivery of security engineering services to the DHS.
McCleave added that Base One and HPS will collaborate to help the department update security practices and address repeatable objectives.
