XLA has secured a potential five-year, $25 million contract from the U.S. Agency for International Development to support USAID’s operations across the Middle East and North Africa.
The company said Monday it will provide acquisition and assistance, administrative and financial management, technical sector and program office support services to USAID’s Middle East Regional Platform and its offices in MENA.
Under the contract, XLA will assist the agency in efforts to reduce extreme poverty, promote democratic societies and accelerate the security in countries such as Egypt, Lebanon, Libya, Tunisia, Turkey and Yemen.
USAID conducts programs in the MENA region to help address slow economic growth, high unemployment and scarce resources to support the establishment of resilient economies.
XLA said it has supported USAID over the past 20 years.
