Diligent Consulting has secured a $940,891 contract to help Ki Ho Military Acquisition Consulting implement software sustainment engineering and support information technology services for the avionics weapons system of the A-10C aircraft fleet at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.
Diligent said Jan. 5 it will use various software engineering tools to build system and subsystem designs for operational, supporting and utility software, manual and automated test procedures, configuration management, data archiving and unit delivery under the A-10 Operational Flight Program.
The A-10 OFP contract was awarded through the Air Force’s Design and Engineering Support Program III vehicle and covers software sustainment work on the A-10C aircraft’s avionics command and control, weapons and sensor  systems.
“Diligent is proud to be able to support our partner KIHOMAC, the Air Force and the A-10 mission,” said Rick Riney, chief operating officer at Diligent.
The A-10 OFP is designed to support the software sustainment operations of the A-10C aircraft’s avionics command and control, weapons and sensor programs.
