Users of Force Protection Video Equipment-built body-worn cameras and surveillance equipment may now store their audio, photo and video files in the cloud using Microsoft‘s Azure Government Cloud.
Force Protection said Monday the cloud storage function utilizes VeriPic‘s Evidence Storage Locker software with an individualized encryption tool in which each data file is secured with a unique encryption key and multiple interlocked hashing.
Paul Feldman, Force Protection CEO, noted the increased flexibility for users of the company’s body-worn cameras and video equipment with the added option to store digital evidence in the cloud.
Law enforcement clients may utilize the Evidence Storage Locker for the LE10 and LE50 body-worn cameras as well as LE100 and LE101 in-car video systems to store data in Azure Government Cloud, the company noted.
