Doug Harlow, formerly a business development executive at Advanced Concepts and Technologies International, has been named executive program manager for the acquisition management services company’s contract with the Department of Homeland Security‘s national protection and programs directorate.
ACT I said Harlow will oversee program management and service delivery efforts and serve as the primary contact for contracting personnel on matters related to the deal with NPPD’s cybersecurity and communications office.
“Mr. Harlow’s extensive technical experience and skills in cyber security and acquisition management provide ACT I with a unique ability to support the DHS NPPD Cyber Security and Communications market,” said ACT I CEO Michael Niggel.
Harlow has 25 years of leadership experience in defense cyber operations, acquisition, information operations, information assurance and business operations.
He most recently served as business development executive for ACT I’s Defense Department and intelligence programs and previously worked as senior manager of business development at General Dynamics‘ advanced information systems business as well as program manager of systems engineering and cyber operations at the U.S. Air Force.
