b-w world-peopleThe National Advanced Mobility Consortium has elected three new members to the nonprofit organization’s board of directors.

NAMC said Tuesday Christopher Rohe will serve as president of the board of directors, while Michael Ladika and Gerald Lane have been appointed respectively as vice president and treasurer of the manned and unmanned ground vehicle-focused consortium.

Rohe serves as senior vice president of strategic development at Stryke Industries, Ladika holds the title of senior program manager of research and development at the Southwest Research Institute and Lane leads Great Lakes Systems and Technology as president.

Alissa Roath, a member of NAMC’s Consortium Administrative Organization, has also been unanimously elected as the organization’s director of operations in a push to expand the group’s core staff.

“The leadership views this as an investment in the consortium’s future and we are grateful to have someone of Ms. Roath’s caliber in the role,” said Tony Melita, NAMC executive director.

“Under Rohe and Roath’s leadership, guidance and can do spirit; NAMC is in extremely good hands moving forward.”

The NAMC board of directors is composed of 18 individuals that the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences and the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems Inc. have appointed from industry and academia groups such as BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, Endeavor Robotics, Qinetiq and the University of Texas at Arlington.
