An Elbit Systems subsidiary has introduced a new anti-drone, protection and neutralization system in response to what the business views as growing global demand for airspace protection platforms against hostile unmanned technologies.
The company said Tuesday that its Elbit Systems EW and SIGINT Elisra business will display the ReDrone system at the Israel HLS & Cyber Conference in Tel Aviv.
Elbit Systems EW and SIGINT Elisra built ReDrone to defend closed air spaces, national infrastructures and other potential threats from adversarial drones.
ReDrone was developed to detect, identify, track and neutralize various type of drones flown within a range of radio frequency communication protocols as well as cater to multiple hardware configurations for target detection, tracking and engagement.
Elbit Systems will also unveil its SupervisIR infrared wide-area persistent information, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance system built to be integrated and operated within the ReDrone system for Signal Intelligence and thermal imaging detection.
