WidePoint has received an initial three-year, $900,000 task order from the Department of Health and Human Services to provide mobile device management services to HHS’ office of the chief information officer.
McLean, Virginia-based WidePoint said Monday the order falls under a HHS blanket purchase agreement through which all component agencies of the department can procure the company’s telecommunications management service offerings.
“Adding new department-level agreements is a strategic focus for WidePoint, and we are excited to receive our first task order from the HHS OCIO under the HHS BPA,” said Steve Komar, WidePoint CEO.
Jin Kang, WidePoint chief operations officer, added the company looks to add new department-level contract and receive new task orders as it works to demonstrate the performance of the ITMS Telecom Lifecycle Management platform offerings to federal agency clients.
