G-W Management Services has been awarded a potential $9.7 million contract by the U.S. Navy to design and build an ammunition supply point facility at the Marine Corps Base Quantico.
The company will construct a new ammunition issue and segregation building as well as provide associated site work under the firm-fixed-price contract, the Defense Department said Wednesday.
DoD added G-W Management Services will demolish an existing high explosive concrete magazine inside the base.
The contract includes a $21,000 option and the project is scheduled for completion in February 2018.
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command received four bids for the contract via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website and obligated $9,668,364 at the time of award from the branch’s fiscal 2015 military construction funds.
