Fenton, Missouri-based managed cloud and security service provider Fpweb.net has received three international certifications that seek to recognize the company’s compliance with requirements for cloud platforms, personal information and technical data.
The company said Monday it secured the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program certification for its cloud computing platforms and services.
Fpweb.net also received the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and International Traffic in Arms Regulations certifications.
The EU-US Privacy Shield Framework sets principles for the collection, retention and use of personal data from member countries of the European Union, while the ITAR certification restricts the use of regulated technical data to U.S. citizens employed by the U.S. government agency or company.
Fpweb.net is a member of the Cloud Security Alliance and also holds the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act certification for healthcare information as well as Sarbanes-Oxley and Payment Card Industry certifications for financial data.
