Cambridge International Systems has opened a new office in Virginia Beach, Virginia where the company will house its Combatant Commands division and the Military Sealift Command information technology engineering and support services program support team.
The new office is part of the company’s effort to provide collaborative workspaces to its employees, Cambridge said Friday.
Russell Thurston, Cambridge vice president of defense and intelligence services, said the establishment of the new office reflects Cambridge’s focus on the delivery of C4ISR services to help fulfill the customers’ requirements for communication, surveillance, intelligence and security applications.
The COCOM division provides support to the Air Combat Command Acquisition Management and Integration Center’s Counter Narcotics and Global Threats contract under the leadership of Director Liz Germanos Buker.
The MSC ITESS program support team led by Rachelle Ingram performs program management support, configuration management, systems integration, Department of the Navy application and database management system compliance, release and deployment management, and IT service management design for the the MSC N6 program.
