The U.S. Army has awarded Quantitative Software Management four prime contracts to provide cost estimation and technical support services for the military branch’s software development and maintenance efforts.
QSM said Wednesday it will work to help the Army predict cost requirements to develop and maintain software platforms as well as analyze data and establish predictive cost relationships.
The contracts support the Army’s efforts to create a measurement, estimation, assessment and analysis methodology that will work to calculate and evaluate the life cycle costs of system- and enterprise-level software projects.
“We are extremely pleased to continue our participation in this valuable research and maintain our long-term relationship with the Army,” said Angela Maria Lungu, QSM managing director.
QSM has helped the service branch to analyze software data and identify cost estimation relationships since 2007.
