AM General has received contracts from U.S. and international military agencies worth more than $151 million in total to provide Humvees, associated parts and training.
The company said Monday the contracts cover production vehicles, automotive kits, spare parts and training.
The U.S. Army awarded AM General a $108.8 million contract modification to deliver 433 Humvees to Afghanistan through a foreign military sales deal, GovCon Wire reported Wednesday.
AM General will provide 360 M1152A1B2 and 73 M1151A1B1 Humvees for Afghanistan; 40 M1152 Humvee ambulances for Ukraine; and 237 M997A3 Humvee ambulance vehicles for the National Guard and Reserves.
The company noted 230,000 Humvees are currently deployed in fleets across the world.
