A U.S.-based subsidiary of SAP will participate in the MACH37 Cyber Accelerator 90-day program for startups and small businesses as a platinum sponsor.
SAP National Security Services — or SAP NS2 – will receive access to the MACH37 portfolio comprised of information security entrepreneurs and innovators and also take part in the program’s  executive advisory board, the Center for Innovative Technology said Thursday.
CIT’s MACH37 Cyber Accelerator program works to support small and startup businesses to attain success and sustainability with a goal to launch 40 cybersecurity startups by the Fall 2016 program’s end.
Steve Fehr, an SAP NS2 senior vice president, said the company will work with MACH37 to update and apply new technologies in an effort to help protect national security, commercial and critical infrastructure communities against cybersecurity threats.
“The mission of our accelerator program is to help security innovators and researchers build upon their work to create commercially-available solutions that can defeat the growing threat of attacks against enterprises and their users,” said Rick Gordon, a MACH37 managing partner.
General Dynamics‘ mission systems business unit and Amazon Web Services also act as platinum sponsors of MACH37.
