Orbit Logic has updated its Direct Access Facility Collection Planning Systems software that works to help DigitalGlobe‘s international Direct Access Program partners task and receive imagery from WorldView satellites.
The DAF CPS platform has been updated to cover WorldView-4 satellite that is scheduled to launch this month as well as the existing GeoEye-1, WorldView-1, WorldView-2 and WorldView-3, Orbit Logic said Wednesday.
Orbit Logic has provided collection planning software to DigitalGlobe since the program’s inception in 2006.
The platform is designed to offer advanced planning algorithms, user-friendly graphic user interface, multi-user collaborative planning environment as well as detailed maps for operators to gain situational awareness.
DAP works to help defense, intelligence and commercial customers access DigitalGlobe’s constellation of high-resolution Earth observation satellites, Orbit Logic noted.
