Janus Global Operations has landed the 16th spot on the National Center for Employee Ownership‘s list of 100 largest U.S. companies with employee-ownership plans.
JGO said Friday the company ranked 41st in 2015 on NCEO’s Employee Ownership 100 list — a ranking of the largest U.S.-based companies according to Employee Stock Ownership Plans or plans wherein 50 percent or more of the workforce own half of the company’s stock.
NCEO said ESOP companies’ sales, employment and productivity show an annual growth rate that is approximately 2.5 percent faster than expected and that ESOP firms provide more than double the total retirement assets of non-ESOP companies.
The non-profit noted approximately 7,000 U.S. ESOPs are comprised of 14 million participants that own approximately $1 trillion in assets.
JGO has more than 7,000 employees worldwide and the company offers risk management, munitions management, unexploded ordnance demining and mitigation, intelligence support, logistics, communications, life support and other services.
