Lockheed Martin will offer support to service members, veterans and their families through a new 3,400-square-foot facility that United Services Organization unveiled at the Orlando International Airport in Florida.
Lockheed said Wednesday it will support the new USO welcome center in Orlando through its employee volunteers.
The company said it offers assistance to several USO initiatives such as career transition, care package and holiday box programs.
Marillyn Hewson, Lockheed chairman, president and CEO and an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2016, is part of USO’s national board of governors.
Officials said they expect approximately 10,000 uniformed personnel and their dependents will use the facility on a monthly basis.
