Versar has been awarded a $2.5 million contract modification by the U.S. Army to extend the company’s support services for the Army Corps of Engineers-Middle East District in Iraq through August 2017.
The company said Monday its personnel will continue to help USACE-MED facilitate quality assurance, warranty, material and equipment inspections as well as on-site monitoring of construction sites that require Iraqi national project, administration and technical support.
The modification represents the second and final option year under Versar’s Iraq Personal Services Contract.
Versar CEO Tony Otten said the company has supported USACE-MED over the past 12 years.
