Hewlett Packard Enterprise has made a set of leadership changes in its hybrid information technology and storage businesses.
Ric Lewis, senior vice president and general manager of converged data center infrastructure at HPE, will lead the firm’s software-defined and cloud group, HPE said Monday.
These appointments come after HPE announced plans in May to merge its enterprise services segment with Computer Sciences Corp.
SDCG will be comprised of the Helion CloudSystem and Helion OpenStack teams and will work to provide platforms designed to help operators and developers field applications across various cloud environments.
Mark Interrante, SVP of engineering at HPE, will succeed Bill Hilf as SVP and GM of HPE’s cloud organization.
Bill Philbin, a 30-year technology industry veteran, will succeed Manish Goel as head of HPE’s storage business.
