Canada’s information technology services organization has selected Fortinet to provide a scalable IT infrastructure security service across the country’s government.
Fortinet said Thursday Shared Services Canada will utilize the Fortinet Security Fabric that consists of FortiGate enterprise firewalls and the FortiManager security management software.
The company added it will work with SSC to deploy the security service that will work to deliver full control with a centralized view of the network in efforts to protect the Canadian government’s end-to-end IT infrastructure such as data centers and telecommunication systems.
The SSC organization aims to transform IT infrastructure management in the Canadian government and consolidate IT functions in a push to boost performance and mitigate costs.
