BPM has received accreditation as a Third Party Assessment Organization that can conduct assessments of cloud service providers in accordance with the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
The company said Wednesday it will utilize previous assessment work by its information technology assurance group based on the International Organization for Standardization, Service Organization Control and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act standards.
Sumit Kalra, a partner in BPM’s assurance practice group and leader of the IT assurance group, said the accreditation builds on the company’s 15 years of work in infrastructure implementations.
BPM CEO Jim Wallace added the company will work to advance the security posture of clients through the accreditation.
The company said it is the only California-based company certified to conduct audits for ISO 27001, SOC and FedRAMP.
