Boeing and Huckworthy have forged a partnership through the Defense Department’s Mentor-Protege Program.
Boeing’s commercial satellite services business will mentor Huckworthy on how to further commercialize the latter’s Traveller line of tactical communications and technology platforms to the government sector as well as compete for prime and subcontracts under a three-year agreement, Huckworthy said Monday.
Huckworthy, which is one of the two Boeing suppliers that have been approved to undergo mentorship through the DoD program, will also share its experience in power technologies and communications platforms with Boeing.
Washington-based Huckworthy is a certified U.S. Small Business Administration Historically Underutilized Business Zone company that provides wireless, satellite communications and energy optimization platforms and offers consulting support services for wireless, satellite, energy and defense companies.
