The U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command‘s intelligence directorate has exercised the first option year worth $34.2 million for CGI to provide operational environment option core services under a five-year, $124 million contract award from 2015.
The company said Thursday it will provide scenario development tools, a data repository, classroom-ready instruction, combat training center support, mobile training team augmentation services and OE studies.
CGI added the publication-ready, regional and country-specific OE studies work to support U.S. Army operational planning, mission rehearsal, and individual and staff training.
The company said the OE design tools and products serve to support high-fidelity training environments for the Army intelligence personnel.
TRADOC’s intelligence directorate works to deliver and define the operating environment for Army training scenarios, threat replication and readiness data.
