Rennova Health has entered into an agreement with service-disabled veteran-owned small business Academy Medical to offer the former’s laboratory services to U.S. federal government clients such as the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The agreement establishes Rennova’s Riviera Beach Laboratory as an exclusive federal government business channel partner to Academy Medical, Rennova said Thursday.
The diagnostics software company added that Academy Medical has managed and maintained sales channels and contract vehicles for medical services and supplies, particularly for the federal government.
“A growing number of pharmaceutical products contain guidance for pharmacogenetics biomarker testing in their labels, and the [VA]Â in particular has shown an increased awareness of the utility of this type of testing,” said Rennova CEO Seamus Lagan.
He added that the agreement with Academy Medical works to broaden the market for Rennova’s laboratory test services.
The partnership aims to promote testing services also to non-government and private organizations alongside federal government clients such as the Defense Department and the Department of Health and Human Services.
