Jonathan Couch, co-founder and formerÂ vice president ofÂ iSIGHT Partners, has joined ThreatQuotientÂ as vice president for strategy at theÂ Reston, Virginia-based enterprise security technology company.
ThreatQuotientÂ said WednesdayÂ he willÂ work toÂ develop the company’sÂ software roadmap and partnership strategyÂ as well as collaborate with its partners and clients to help themÂ secure their business operations.
“Couch has a deep understanding of the threat intelligence market and the challenges organizations face when trying to get the most out of their security resources,” said John Czupak, ThreatQuotient president and CEO.
“As we continue to execute on our vision of being the foremost authority on operationalizing threat intelligence, we are excited to welcome Couch as the latest industry veteran to our team,” Czupak added.
Couch holdsÂ 20 years of information security, warfare and collection experience and his background includes work onÂ cyber warfare, cybersecurity and information operations and policy.
He helped establish iSIGHT Partners in 2007 and worked in a VP role there prior to the threat intelligence firm’s acquisition byÂ FireEyeÂ early this year.
He also previously led a research and development team at information technology services contractorÂ Sytex, whichÂ Lockheed MartinÂ bought in 2005.
The electrical engineering graduate alsoÂ served in the U.S. Air ForceÂ andÂ was assigned at theÂ National Security Agency, the Air Force Information Warfare Center and the Joint Task ForceÂ in Saudi Arabia during his military service.
