The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has awarded Data Computer Corporation of America a five-year, $13.8 million contract for business intelligence services in support of a CMS plan to update and expand the agency’s automated plan payment system.
DCCA said Monday that it will analyze interfaces for CMS and aim to help the agency fulfill data analytics requirements of the program.
David Bower, DCCA CEO, said the company aims to help CMS have an accurate and comprehensive plan payment reporting and management function.
The company will also develop new complex accounting functions designed to allow report and payment scheduling functions, as well as support multiple funding sources for plan payments and journal entry services.
