centurylink_logojpgCenturyLink will offer its colocation, cloud and security services to state and local government agencies through the G2G Marketplace online procurement portal.

G2G Marketplace works to provide technology services to agencies through its website, which can also facilitate the purchase of technology and professional services with pre-negotiated blanket purchase agreements, CenturyLink said Tuesday.

Rick Buyens, CenturyLink regional sales vice president, said G2G Marketplace will serve as a central hub for the contracting, licensing and purchasing of CenturyLink’s colocation, cloud and security offerings in support of customer agencies’ hybrid IT strategy.

Oakland County IT officials in Michigan launched the online marketplace in 2014 as a government-to-government tool for procurement.

CenturyLink noted that the services and products to be sold on the G2G Marketplace were chosen through a standard procurement process that uses generally accepted purchasing practices and guidelines.
