The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is seeking information on potential vendors that can help run and maintain an agency facility built to support up to 17,000 enterprise network devices.
CBP needs support personnel to ensure continuity of operations at the agency’s Network Operations Center, the Department of Homeland Security said in a FedBizOpps notice published Thursday.
Task areas listed in the notice include program management, network performance and analysis, knowledge management, performance reporting, surge support, virtual private networking, remote access, identity management and access control.
DHS said a selected contractor will also support CBP equipment such as cabling, routers, switches, firewalls and specialized appliances.
Responses to the request for information are due May 19.
