Boeing has received a $9.6 million undefinitized delivery order from the U.S. Navy to repair 64 horizontal stabilizers of F-18 aircraft under a previously awarded basic ordering agreement.
The Defense Department said Friday work will occur in Cecil Field, Florida, through April 2018.
The Naval Supply Systems Command weapon systems support unit obligated $4.7 million at the time of the award from fiscal 2016 Navy working capital funds, DoD noted.
The service branch posted the solicitation for proposals on the Navy Electronic Commerce On-line and FedBizOpps websites with one offer received.
