A team of contractors led by an L-3 Communications division will deliver warfighter readiness and training research services to the U.S. Air Force under a seven-year, $200 million contract awarded in April.
L-3 Link Simulation and Training will collaborate with Cubic‘s global defense unit, Ball Aerospace and Leidos to develop technology that will work to create wide-spectrum readiness features, Cubic said Monday.
“As part of our ‘NextTraining’ strategy, Cubic is focused on raising mission readiness and optimizing human performance for our customers,” said Bill Toti, president of Cubic’s global defense segment.
He added the Warfighter Readiness Research Division Contractor Team looks to support the Air Force Research Laboratory‘s efforts to discover skills and knowledge that can help warfighters in their operating environments.
Team members will work to to create and validate an interoperable training toolset designed to provide cross-mission performance-based debriefs and address training and exercise overhead challenges for the Air Force.
