A BAE Systems business unit has received a $9.5 million U.S. Navy contract to provide services and supplies for the service branch’s Software Communications Architecture Common Data Link family of products.
The Defense Department said Friday the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract requires assessment, repair, rework, maintenance, replacement, spares and replenishment of units and components as needed.
DoD added BAE’s information and electronic systems integration business will also perform research and development work to update the SCA/CDL family of products under the terms of the contract.
Work will occur in Wayne, New Jersey, through April 2021.
The contract is a sole-source award by the Naval Surface Warfare Center – Dahlgren Division, DoD said.
