The Department of Veterans Affairs has issued a request for information on potential industry sources of enterprise cloud broker services in support of the agency’s efforts to update its information technology infrastructure.
VA said in a FedBizOpps notice published April 4 it is in search of a broker that will oversee a portfolio of enterprise cloud services and subject such services through the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program accreditation process.
According to the notice, VA wants information on potential contractors that can perform network convergence; combine voice, data and video communications into a single enterprise network; and provide cloud services to support the agency’s data center hosting and consolidation efforts.
Interested companies should also provide information on customers they have supported in terms of facilities, geographical scope, capacity and users, process for establishing baselines and requirements, involvement in cloud service brokering and hosting, as well as lessons learned with regard to contract structure.
Responses to the notice are due April 18.
