Rockwell Collins has appointed Dave Nieuwsma, formerly vice president of strategy and business development for the company’s government systems business, as senior VP for information management services.
The company said Monday Nieuwsma succeeds Jeff Standerski, who will assume the role of SVP for people and inclusion.
“Dave brings a fresh perspective to our IMS organization as we look to further expand our information management services capabilities and offerings beyond its core commercial aviation business,” said Kelly Ortberg, Rockwell Collins chairman, president and CEO.
Nieuwsma also previously served as VP and general manager of airborne solutions under Rockwell Collins’ government systems segment, where he oversaw profit and loss, customer relationship management, program execution as well as business plans.
He has worked at Rockwell Collins since 1991 and held various leadership roles at the company’s commercial systems and government systems divisions.
