ICF International has landed a $9.2 million contract from Wisconsin utilities to serve as a program implementer for the state’s Focus on Energy program geared to support renewable resources.
Under the three-year contract, ICF will help implement Focus on Energy’s residential retailer lighting and appliance activities, the company said Monday.
“Focus on Energy must now meet the challenge faced by many mature energy-efficiency programs — how to continue to drive program participation by attracting, engaging and satisfying its customers, retailers and manufacturers at a lower overall cost,” said Wendy Jaehn, a vice president for ICF.
Jaehn added ICF seeks to support the more-than-10-year-old program amid the challenge through implementation strategies and program designs that will work to engage consumers and offer product options.
ICF said it implements at least 150 energy-efficiency programs across the residential, industrial, commercial and institutional sectors in North America.
