David Stoudt, formerly senior technologist for directed energy at the U.S. Navy, has joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a senior executive adviser and fellow for the company’s directed energy program.
In his new role, Stoudt will focus on providing thought leadership in engineering, science and C4ISR, Booz Allen said Wednesday.
Trey Obering, executive vice president for Booz Allen’s directed energy initiative, said the new hire aligns with the company’s investment in directed energy projects intended for the Defense Department and other customers.
Stoudt brings more than two decades of civil service experience to Booz Allen and holds specialization in the areas of laser interactions, high-energy laser and pulsed power technology, among others.
