Lou Crenshaw and David Huntoon, both retired senior officers from the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army respectively, have joined The Spectrum Group.
Crenshaw will bring his experience in federal financial management as well as in budgeting, planning and execution for the Defense Department to the Alexandria, Va.-based consulting firm, TSG said Friday.
Crenshaw, a 32-year Navy veteran and retired vice admiral, is founder and president of Crenshaw Consulting Associates.
He was a former partner at Grant Thornton, where he led the aerospace and defense practice as well as the defense and intelligence business within the firm’s global public sector.
Crenshaw is a certified defense financial manager and a former deputy chief of naval operations for resources, requirements and assessments at the Navy.
Huntoon, a three-decade Army veteran and retired lieutenant general, will leverage his experience in executive leadership development, education and training, base realignment and closures and human resource management to support the consulting firm’s client agencies within DoD as well as international customers, TSG said.
During his military career, Huntoon served as director of the U.S. Army for strategy, plans and policy, director of the Army Staff and superintendent of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
He is also founder and president of D2H Leadership Consulting.
