James Brunke, formerly a vice president at Boeing and CEO of its Shanghai aviation services business, has joined the industry advisory panel of Associated Aircraft Manufacturing and Sales Inc.
The industry advisory panel will be part of AAMSI’s growth strategy, the aviation-focused small business said Monday.
AAMSI works to design, produce and repair legacy electronic systems for various military platforms, with licenses from Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman.
Brunke retired from Boeing in 2009 and has since founded the management consulting firm Brunke &Â Associates.
At Boeing, Brunke has held leadership roles for the company’s global aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services as well as the advanced logistics and supply chain services.
He served four years with the U.S. Air Force on special operations before he joined Continental Airlines and later the North American aviation division of Rockwell International, which was acquired by Boeing.
