American Systems has been awarded a potential five-year, $34.3 million task order to provide transition planning and policy development support to the General Services Administration’s transition coordination center.
GSA established TCC in an effort to help federal agencies transition from multiple telecommunication and legacy network contracts to the NS2020 Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions contract, the company said Monday.
“Working alongside government to find ways to acquire IT and communications services more efficiently is important work that saves taxpayer dollars while enabling agencies to achieve their mission more effectively,” said Peter Smith, president and CEO of American Systems.
The office of integrated technology services within GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service awarded the task order as part of the agency’s Connections II contract.
The task order also covers agency outreach, strategy development, project management, monitoring, reporting, inventory validation and help desk support services for TCC.
