Unisys has been awarded a $38.4 million contract to develop simulation hardware and software technology for NASA’s Hampton, Virginia-based Langley Research Center.
Unisys will work to design, test, integrate, operate, maintain and modify Langley’s flight simulation facilities and research aircraft systems under the contract, NASA said Friday.
The contract contains a five-year performance period, which includes a three-year base and a two-year option.
Langley Research Center provides design and testing services for launch abort systems of future space capsules.
