SOS International has introduced a new medical support division chartered to deliver medical services to the U.S. government and oil, gas and mining companies.
The new SOSi division will launch advanced telemedicine services designed to help staff gain access to medical expertise.
The company said Dec. 15Â its operations and life-support services to the U.S. military based in Iraq provided the foundation for its expansion into medical operations.
“[Formally] expanding into this area gives us the opportunity to extend [telemedicine] innovations to other U.S. and coalition government missions and private sector clients around the world,” said Julian Setian, president and CEO of SOSi.
