Vern Saunders serves as vice president and general manager of Jacobs‘ federal network systems business unit, with responsibility in the execution of FNS programs.
He previously served as deputy general manager at FNS and executive director of its advanced programs sector, where he was responsible for a $5 billion program to deliver information technology services to a federal government client.
Saunders joined FNS in June 2000 before Jacobs acquired the company.
Prior to joining FNS, Saunders enlisted with the U.S. Army Reserve in 1989 and was commissioned in the U.S. Air Force in 1994.
He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Averett University and a master’s certificate in federal government contracting from Villanova University.
