Data Dimensions will continue to provide electronic data conversion services for the Department of Veterans Affairs under a five-year subcontract with Systems Made Simple, a Lockheed Martin subsidiary.
Data Dimensions said Monday it secured the subcontract from SMS through the Intake Conversion Mail Handling Services contract with VA.
Jon Boumstein, president and CEO of Data Dimensions, said the company will work to help VAÂ reduce the backlog in disability claims.
The records management services contractor will create up to 100 jobs and build a new facility in Janesville, Wisconsin, to store federal records as part of the ICMHS contract.
Work on the new contract will begin Dec. 31.
Data Dimensions has been converting veterans’ claims and records into electronic documents since 2012 under an existing contract with VA.
