The Defense Information Systems Agency plans to award a potential five-year contract to provide information technology research and consulting support services for the U.S. Transportation Command’s command, control, communications and cyber systems directorate.
DISA said in a FedBizOpps presolicitation notice posted Monday potential contractors will work to provide such services in order to help Transcom’s directorate acquire, implement and manage IT systems.
The directorate provides program management, lifecycle, interoperability, planning and technical integration support for major C4S-based transportation across the Defense Department.
DISA will use the lowest-price technically acceptable method to award the firm-fixed-price contract, which contains a one-year base period and four option years.
The agency expects to release a request for proposal Friday.
