CAE Captures $72M in Contracts for Pilot Training, Full-Flight Simulator Sales

CAE has received contracts worth approximately $71.7 million combined to provide cadet-to-captain training services and training equipment to five international commercial airlines.

The company said Monday the contracts include cadet and pilot training for China’s Shenzhen Airlines, Japan’s Spring Airlines and a European customer.

CAE will also supply three A350 full-flight simulators, one Boeing 787 FFS, one A350 flight training device and one A350 Airbus Pilot Transition Trainer to the Airbus Asian Training Center and some customers in North America.

The sale of four FFS brings CAE’s FFS sales total so far in fiscal year 2016 to 30, the company noted.
