The U.S. Air Force has awarded Universal Technology Corp. a $37.6 million contract to advise the military service on research and technology initiatives.
Universal Technology will assist in the Air Force Research Laboratory space vehicles and directed energy directorates’ professional engineering and management work under the contract, the Defense Department said Thursday.
Both AFRL directorates work to sustain research and development technology and gain funds for future research through strategic planning support.
Universal Technology will perform work at the Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico through Nov. 14, 2018.
The Air Force received two offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
