Embraer has chosen Rockwell Collins to manufacture cargo handling and aerial delivery control systems for integration into Embraer-built KC-390 airlifters for the Brazilian military.
Rockwell Collins said Wednesday its CHADCS works to help military organizations monitor, hold and manage air drops of personnel, vehicles and cargo.
The digital control technology comprises a loadmaster station, activate and release locks, measure force, lock control and control panel units and systems for precision, safety and automation management.
Rockwell Collins has provided its avionics technology Pro Line Fusion for Embraer’s KC-390 military transport aircraft program.
