An Australia-based Northrop Grumman subsidiary has been selected to maintain a network operation center for that country’s defense department.
Northrop Grumman M5 Network Security will work with the department to manage and track communications networks and information systems through the JP2068 center, the company said Thursday.
Ian Irving, chief executive of Northrop Grumman Australia, said the contract formalizes a partnership between the defense department and Northrop for cybersecurity services.
Canberra-based Northrop Grumman M5 provides cybersecurity services to military and government agencies, as well as private companies.
