Lockheed Martin and technology companies Injaz National and Exechon have created a joint venture to build and offer machining tools for the aerospace, defense and automotive industries.
Abu Dhabi-based Exechon Enterprises will be led by Karl-Erik Neumann and aims to produce automated technology for the production of advanced components, Lockheed said Monday.
The JV also plans to establish a center of excellence that will engineer and manufacture parallel kinematic machines for various industrial markets.
Joe Garland, Lockheed vice president of strategy and business development, said the company supports the high-technology industrial base through partnership with other companies.
