Computer Sciences Corp. has received a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program certification for the company’s ARCWRXÂ cloud computing technology.
CSC said Tuesday this is the second FedRAMP certification for the platform-as-a-service ARCWRX, which is based on Red Hat’s OpenShift and resides on CSC’s ARC-P platform.
Paul Smith, general manager and vice president of public sector at Red Hat, said the FedRAMP authorization demonstrates his company’s efforts to develop services for a level of security that supports client missions.
Third-party assessment organization Veris Group evaluated the CSC offering’s operation systems, network devices, databases and Web applications as part of the certification process.
