A Time Warner Cable subsidiary has adopted a Dell network firewall appliance to deliver managed security services to the telecommunication firm’s customers in the education sector.
Time Warner Cable Business Class collaborates with Secure Designs , a premium partner of Dell, to help U.S. school district clients protect their information technology assets, Dell said Tuesday.
“Our managed security solutions help reduce schools’ administrative burden because we provide proactive protection and 24/7 monitoring,” said Jitesh Bhayani, TWCBC vice president of data and carrier product management.
Dell designed its SonicWALL platform to help organizations monitor network bandwidth utilization and protect IT infrastructure from spams, viruses and intruders.
The technology also works to manage connectivity, access devices and plug-and-play deployment, Dell said.
